What is your product made of? |
Buhler Furniture uses the highest grade of North American Oak and Maple in all our products. Any large wood panels are constructed of high-density engineered board core, which is a real wood product and more stable than solid wood. Our backings are recessed Mahogany, which provide added strength and stability to the unit.
We only use real wood and real wood veneers, which are made to last.

How do I care for my Buhler piece? |
Our premier finishes are treated with hand-rubbed stains, UV protectant and a catalyzed topcoat. A damp cloth and mild detergent will keep the dust off and your piece gleaming. No household cleaners are needed.

What do you make the backs of your units of? |
No corners are cut in our products, ensuring
you the highest quality furniture. Our backings are recessed mahogany
which provides added strength and stability to the unit as well as
enhanced aesthetic value.

Are your shelves adjustable and what is the thickness of the
glass? |
Most of our units feature top to bottom drilling for added flexibility. The cabinet gables are drilled with a series of holes that allow the shelves to be adjusted to the height you need.
Our shelves are cut from 5-6mm glass, which is significantly thicker than
the industry average, and provide much stronger support for your valuable
display pieces. However, good judgment must be exercised to prevent breakage
of the shelves and articles placed on them.

What kind of lighting do you use? |
Halogen lighting is standard on most models, which provides crisp, precision lighting that will bring out the sharp detailing of all your collectables. Refer to the product specifications to determine the type of lighting in the specific unit.

How is your product shipped? |
Our products are shipped in cardboard boxes which far exceed industry drop standards.

We offer Touch Lighting on most cabinets - this allows you to turn
the light off and on by simply touching the hinge; a great showcasing
feature when showing off your collectables to your guests!
Some of our cabinets come with an interior outlet. For those collectables
that require plugging-in, this is a great feature to have! It shows
off all features of your collection in a dust free environment.

What is your Dust Free Seal? |
The first component is a full length piano hinge, which ensures a tight fit that does not allow dust to enter at the hinged area of the cabinet. The second component is our seal strip overlay. On most of our door openings we have installed an additional length of wood strip which keeps the cabinet doors tight and the dust out.
